At Social Work Scotland our mission is to promote the unique role, value and contribution of social work, by articulating the expertise and insight of social work managers and other leaders in the profession. We work to inform the development and implementation of policy at all levels and support effective leadership within the social work and social care sectors. We are committed to realising social justice, human rights and equality for all of Scotland’s citizens. (Our ‘core objectives’ are set out in our Articles of Association.)

We do not directly deliver social work services, but instead offer opportunities for eligible professionals across Scotland to learn from and support each other, to influence the social work agenda, and to collaborate around the delivery of social work services.
