Our Convenor, Alison White, and Chief Officer of West Lothian HSCP, and Jennifer Rezendes, our Head of Policy and Workforce recently attended the European Social Network Conference in Hamburg. The conference had a strong Digital and Tech focus, rooted in the drive to support relationship based practice, and offered several interesting perspectives from across Europe. While approaches presented reflected services at various points of implementing approaches to person-centred and outcomes focused work, there was a commonality in experience of workforce pressures. Like Scotland, most countries were struggling to find the workforce capacity to deliver community based support.
