Ahead of the Scottish election in May, ‘Scotland in your hands’ sets out the key priorities we think should underpin decisions by the next Scottish government to support social work, improve lives and strengthen communities.
It has been twelve months in the making, following engagement with our membership, Board, CSWOs, and partners, and is the first of its kind for us.
We hope ‘Scotland in your hands’ supports politicians to set a direction for meaningful change in the months after the election as they set the programme for government and budget. We also hope its work resonates and inspires social workers, and those who receive support.
Social Work Scotland remains an organisation designed to support its members first and foremost and we are grateful for the input by our membership in the development of this call to action.
